Before the Google.org Impact Summit, On August 27 in Seoul, Google had a Meeting with the researchers in Korea where some of the issues discussed by the researchers are: NotebookLM, Med-Gemini, the user experience (UX) of artificial intelligence (AI) agents, and Connectomics. Encouragingly, responses from the Korean startup and academic communities were also heard.

1. Building New AI Solutions Responsibly & Effectively – 2.30 GMT
We are inviting nonprofit technology professionals and engineers who are interested in implementing generative AI. Immerse yourself in the nuts and bolts, best practices, and considerations, as well as ideas about how these solutions are positively changing the world.
2. Funding AI Responsibly- 2.30 GMT
This session targets those who have funded AI for impact, are funding it now, or may fund it in the future. AI is set to shift the framework of the social impact sector in a big way, however, funding remains a major source of concern for AI-powered nonprofits. Indeed, for most philanthropic leaders, these tech-based solutions are novel and hence might seem more challenging to assess or support.
The goal of this session is to discuss how the websites of these institutions can contribute to the resolution of the issues that arise in their fields. and other specialists in the field of AI for impact from ‘org’ such as Jared Chung during a discussion on how stakeholders can seek to ask important questions and move in the right direction for the evaluation and responsible investment in AI for impact.
3. Making the most of Google’s no-cost and discounted tools for nonprofits- 2.30 GMT
Discover Google for Nonprofits program criteria, zero to low-cost AI-enabled solutions, additional features available through Gemini, and when it may make sense to incorporate them into your nonprofit’s fundraising, marketing, and program management initiatives.
4. Applying AI Responsibly in Education- 2.30 GMT
This lecture will present an overview of other work regarding the future of education and Generative AI’s effect on the equitability of computing education. It will also provide an opportunity to get an expert panel of opinions on challenges and opportunities in the effective implementation of Generative AI to advance education and on the progress to provide for the responsible and equitable use of Generative AI in education systems.
5. Six Months & 20 Projects Later – Learning from the Google.org Accelerator: Generative AI – 3.30 GMT
Leaders of organizations or institutions that are involved with efforts to enhance equity in the education system will find this session to be particularly appropriate.
