Galaxy AI

Samsung surprised the tech world when it released the Galaxy AI with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Series in January 2024. Now the brand is preparing for the second Unpacked Event of 2024 on July 10, where more Galaxy AI features are expected to be unveiled.

Now, the company is preparing for the second Unpacked Event of the year 2024 on July 10 where they are likely to reveal some new features for Galaxy AI.

Earlier, there were rumors that Samsung could make the Galaxy AI paid in the future, and for now, there is clarity on this issue, as the brand has stated that Galaxy AI will remain free only until 2025.

This reiteration has arrived in the fine terms that have accompanied an announcement from Samsung that it plans to open several pop-up stores in major cities around the globe this summer. It will also allow people to have a go at using Galaxy AI and find out how the tools work in practice.

Features of Galaxy AI

  • Chat Assist: This AI feature enables users to engage in conversations with others by providing the right responses to messages received. It provides support and translation in 13 languages to date.

  • Circle to Search: The most actively utilized Galaxy AI feature is Circle to Search. This has been developed in collaboration with Google and can be used to search anything from in-between browsing and shopping. It only requires one to long press the home button, circle, tap, or highlight what one is searching for, and the results are gotten in less than a minute.

  • Photo Assist: This feature aids in enhancing photography, given the role of the name, which translates to ‘creating editing tools.’ This one allows the users to zoom the pictures or even adjust their size or quality if they want to.

  • Instant Slo-mo: This Gen AI feature makes it possible to slow down typical videos to give the impression of a slow-motion video. It supports videos starting from 720p and up to 4K, and the application of generative AI is based on the prediction of missing fragments between frames.

It is still speculation, but there is an opportunity to make an additional version of the Galaxy AI and name it the Galaxy AI+ starting in the year 2026. Nevertheless, the basic or existing Galaxy AI may be provided for free like other companies did before.

In special Galaxy Experience Spaces, guests can engage in interactive programming and hands-on activities, showcasing the latest Galaxy AI capabilities on the newest devices, providing a unique and immersive experience. Here is the table where you can look at right place.
