In the community blog post, it was noted that Circle to Search is live in OxygenOS 15. The update is live across the OnePlus ecosystem, including the new OnePlus 12, 12R, and the OnePlus Pad 2. The feature will gradually roll out across the world. However, the OxygenOS 15 stable update rolled out to the OnePlus 12, 12R, and Pad 2, but Circle to Search was not featured in this update.

Users are allowed to swipe up whenever something they’re interested in pops up to perform a search from within the app without needing to move between apps. It must be made to only draw a circle around it; voila, you have everything you wanted to know right before you.
There are many artificial intelligence features from Google, such as the Circle to Search, which allows one to search any object from the screen to the internet. In plain English, it means that if you find something on-screen unfamiliar to you, you can simply tap on the circle to search for that thing on the internet directly.
That’s right; sometimes, when you are immersed in a bubble of photos, videos, and info, the random posts draw curiosity. In the desire to take notes, merely position your finger on and circle, scribble, or tap into any item of interest, and it is identified.
Try a multi-search to search and get detailed web results—Ts images and text simultaneously. For instance, if you find a beautiful green dress and you are interested in the same dress but with a different color, encircle the dress and type in white in the search bar.
How do I use the feature?
- In 3-button navigation mode, long press the Home button.
- In gesture navigation mode, long press the navigation bar.
- Select any item or word on the screen with a circle, scribble, highlight, or tap to search.
- If necessary, type the search ‘query into the search bar.
- The results of your search will appear in the lower part of your screen. Swipe up to see more results.
How do I disable the Circle To Search feature?
- On the desktop, navigate to the upper right corner, click on the gear icon, and then go to System & Updates, System Navigation, and select Circle to Search.
- Another way to disable it is to go to Settings, type in Circle to Search, tap it and then turn off the feature.
