DALL-E:

OpenAI enables its ChatGPT users to freely use its image generation model DALL-E 3 to generate up to two images per day, this will become available to more users in a phased manner. The company highlighted the used cases such as a greeting card, creating images for slides, or a visual representation of things. The availability of DALL-E 3 was only last till ChatGPT Plus users when it debuted in September. 

Meanwhile, access to AI image generation via AI tools is also available in Microsoft offerings such as Copilot. However, the features carry restricted limits and are available for up to two images per day only, while asking ChatGPT to create an image and will provide personalized output, the image generation faster than the Microsoft offerings. 

DALL-E 3 Availability and usability

Although, DALL-E 3 is already available for Plus, Team, and Enterprise accounts of ChatGPT and via API to the developers, access to image generation in ChatGPT is not free on the web while writing. OpenAI said on its DALL-E 3 site, “When prompted with an idea, ChatGPT will automatically generate tailored, detailed prompts for DALL-E 3 that bring your ideas to life” Also, the users can ask for tweaks with a few words. 

Moreover, the latest LLM GPT-4o announced by OpenAI which powers ChatGPT, has a GPT-4o system card that highlights the audio capabilities related to risks and guardrails implemented by OpenAI enabling to reduce harmful, copyright, and biased content from the web.
