Samsung has in development a new feature to be incorporated into One UI 7, the latest version of Samsung’s soil-based Android overlay. Soon, One UI 7 will introduce the Audio Eraser feature, in which customers can delete background noise, wind noise, and other elements from a video. Here’s all you need to know about it.
Samsung is developing an AI audio eraser that will take part in One UI 7. Currently, this feature is not supported in One UI 7’s first public beta version of the software update. However, based on the rumors, Samsung has already begun internal trials of this feature.
One UI 7 AI Audio Eraser Feature
Firstly, Ice Universe on Weibo introduced a new feature called Audio Eraser, which will allow you to erase the noise in videos by changing the volume of the voices, which includes the wind as well. The feature is supposed to be commonly implemented in the Gallery application. The Studio functionality would enable you to use Audio Eraser to help get rid of the unwanted noise within the video recorded.
Audio Eraser is just one of the options in the Galaxy AI list of features. Samsung may have even more excellent features to be released to the Galaxy smartphone with the Stable One UI 7 update. The AI Audio Eraser will allow users to select the volume of four things: voices, wind, music, and audiences. For each of them, there will be a slider. The feature should be in the Gallery app, and users can then utilize it.
This feature should roll out alongside one of the future One UI 7 release builds. However, it is not quite clear whether Samsung should launch it with this One UI 7.0 beta build because the function is still here in One UI 7.1. The latter will launch out of the box on the Galaxy S25 series and tap into a wealth of new AI features as well as other improvements.
