The year 2024 has been focused on AI for Samsung, starting with the Galaxy S24, which came with the One UI 6.1.1. It was later introduced on other Galaxy phones however, not every Galaxy phone received AI features. Samsung’s new Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 come with One 6.1.1. Out of the box and has brought several new features, particularly the camera and Galaxy AI features has major focused on upgrades.
One UI 6.1.1 AI Features
Composer
It provides you access to generate a whole email by providing a relevant prompt. This feature is integrated into the Samsung Keyboard for quick access to different apps. To use it, tap on the Composer option, then type or speak your prompt to get an entire email in a few seconds.
Voice recorder integrates into Samsung Notes
Samsung Notes can easily transcribe and summarize your voice notes directly for a quick read. Also, Galaxy AI has access to detect 10 individual voices from a single voice note.
Sketch to image
The feature can turn your sketch into a real image, you can sketch the image in Gallery, Samsung Notes, and its dedicated app and can bring your ideas to life. Draw anything then select Sketch to Image, it will provide various filter options and you will get multiple variations as a result.
Portrait Studio
It can reimagine your portrait into an attractive artwork, you can choose from different art styles and the Portrait Studio will return multiple results and help you to generate the best image. To enjoy this feature open the image and tap the Galaxy AI icon. Galaxy AI will detect the portrait photo and the Portrait Studio tag in the corner gives access to your image.
Reply suggestions
Galaxy AI will now provide reply suggestions by analyzing the last seven messages in the conversation. This will save the typing efforts and suggest more relevant replies most of the time.
Live call translation comes to third-party apps
The real-time call translation feature will be available on more apps, such as WhatsApp with One 6.1.1 update. Samsung also announced this in a press release earlier.
These are the main Galaxy AI features announced with One 6.1.1. Their ability will vary by region and device. Samsung also mentioned that One 6.1.1 will begin next month with big updates. The Galaxy AI Feature will be available to Galaxy devices by the end of this year.
