Motorola has slated the Indian launch of its new foldable smartphone, the Moto RAZR 50 Ultra for July 4. This announcement has come at the heels of the recent launch of the device in China. Compared to the previous model of the RAZR series, the RAZR 50 Ultra has a larger cover display, a more sophisticated system on a chip, faster charging, and better cameras. The phone will also be available on Amazon as highlighted using a microsite.
The Motorola Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra made their debut on Tuesday at the Lenovo event held in China and some regions of North America, Europe, and the UK. Soon after this, the Chinese smartphone company announced that the Moto Razr 50 Ultra was coming to India. The flip-style foldable phone will be available in the country via Amazon. The Moto Razr 50 Ultra is equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and has an IP68 rating. It will compete with devices such as the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 6.

There have been hints that the Indian variant of the Moto Razr 50 Ultra may come in Midnight Blue, Spring Green, and Peach Fuzz colors. It is confirmed to come with Moto AI and Google Gemini support. Other specifications mentioned include a 4-inch (1,080 x 1,272 pixels) pOLED cover display with 165Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, and 4,000mAh battery with 45W wired and 15W wireless charging.
Regarding the hardware, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 that is used in Xiaomi 14 CIVI, Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, Poco F6, and Realme GT 6. Also, you can enjoy up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage as well. The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra features a 4. 0-inch external cover display which is a pOLED LTPO screen with a 165Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, 2400 nits peak brightness, 1272 x 1080 pixels Resolution with 417 ppi, and Glass Victus protection.
