Google recently rolled out Google Vids, an artificial intelligence-based video creation tool part of the Google Workspace package. This tool is meant to create in-house videos like an advanced PowerPoint presentation. First unveiled back in early 2021, Google has now started rolling out the feature as planned, with users noticing it in Workspace Labs.
Google Vids AI Video Editor Is In Testing Mode
To test Google Vids, it is necessary to enroll in Google Workspace Labs (which is open to anyone). Once you’re in, go to Google Vids on Docs. If you want to start creating, go to the bottom right corner and click on the plus sign.
It needs to be noted that Google Vids does not hide AI features like Google Docs do, as Gemini prompts are put into focus. When a new project is initiated, users get a text-input field to describe what the video is about or what it aims at, briefly. They can teach AI to download documents from Google Drive or choose templates that do not require AI at all.
Google Vids brings in AI tricks and tactics
The recent release of Google Vids by Google is one of the progressive advancements that aims at improving the efficiency of work through artificially intelligent video-making tools in the learning as well as business sectors. The need to continue with testing is expected to lead to fine-tuning of the app to become a boost in Google’s productivity tools portfolio.
