Gemini Imagen 3

Gemini with the Imagen 3 feature has brought a new way of creating images through AI and it will soon receive the Image Resizing feature that will enable it to resize the images Currently, Gemini’s images are all formatted in a 1:1 ratio and yet you cannot change this unless you crop the image manually.

But even in this situation, Android Authority has noticed code lines that suggest this may no longer be the case as well. Recently, here’s what was found in the 15.41.34.29.arm64 beta of the Google app: some readable in-development settings and the possibility to choose from several different sizes.

According to the report, we can resize the image to the most common ratio options, including 16:9.
The advantage of an APK teardown is that one can estimate what might come to a service in the future by using made-work-in-progress codes. However, as the following examples suggest, such predicted features might not even make it to a public release.

Three things must be highlighted here: these settings do not just cut the original picture; instead of, Gemini goes back to the initial picture and fills it to expand it. You actually can resize the image once more and remain in the same enlarged environment but with a stretched picture subject.

The current Imagen model is available for free with Google Gemini but the basic version of the software cannot generate human, portraits or faces. Thus if you want to generate such types of images you’ll have to subscribe to Gem Advanced which now offers a month free trial. Another advantage is that Gem formats its images as a jpg, unlike the ChatGPT.

There has been quite a lot of news as to Gemini recently, one of which was the availability of Gem Live to all Android devices. It also offers more than other AI in the sense that it is able to have subsequent interactions with the user. To this, we can now include the improved appearance of the Gem app, and better, its usability.
