Google in August introduced Gemini Live, which is the first voice assistant that features Gemini. Gemini Live is a unique talk-to-me interface that performs real-time talk just like other AI voice interfaces like Siri and Google voice assistant but with better and more elaborate responses.
Gem Live “will allow for live comment and translation in up to two languages on the same device” with other options in the works. Thus, while speaking you can start with one language and then start using the other language halfway through the conversation.
A recent update from the CEO of Oppo and founder of OnePlus Pete Lau has confirmed that Gem Live is on its way to some Oppo and OnePlus devices. However, he also said that the voice assistant will be soon introduced in ‘40+ languages in coming weeks’.
Still, it remains unclear which precise Oppo and OnePlus devices will be eligible for the Gemini Live update. As we anticipate the release of the OnePlus 13 in the coming weeks, we believe that the brand will reveal that Gem Live is now available for devices during the OnePlus 13 launch event.
Gemini Live
As announced, Gemini Live is intended for live communication and active community participation. It usually provides an option to broadcast live, share materials, and interact with the audience via a chat. People can share ideas, post queries, and offer opinions as it takes place in real-time. Also useful for webinars Q&A, or live performances, it is a way to improve the general feel of the class or the show because it allows for immediate contact between the host and guests.
