Users can now share images directly from other Android Apps to ChatGPT to generate information regarding the image they want. Previously, the user had to go through a sequence of steps to insert an image.
Among other things, the user had to open ChatGPT on their mobile, find the picture they needed in a folder on a device, attach it, and then type the prompt they wanted. This only works for images though because links and texts cannot be shared with ChatGPT, just like Gemini which may be expected in upcoming updates.
Way to share Image Directly to ChatGPT
- Go to Gallery and select the image that you want to share to ChatGPT
- Click on the share option on your mobile
- On the list of sharing options, select the ChatGPT icon to share the image directly to ChatGPT
This can make your work easier, without taking more time and process to share and upload the image on ChatGPT indirectly. One simple way to improve your interaction with ChatGPT is by uploading an image and receiving information or an opinion related to the image. For instance, you can ask for information on the graph, description of works of art, and information on different items in a picture.
When a participant uploads the image, they may input one or more questions about its content; ask for descriptions; or get information about what is depicted. This can come in handy when sorting through information, or when interpreting art, or trying to get some insight into any particular features within the picture.
