Apple’s highly anticipated Apple Intelligence will be available with iOS 18.1, and the company plans to launch it on October 28, as reported by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman in his PowerOn newsletter. Earlier, the Apple Intelligence launch date was expected to be released in October; well, now, it is tightly linked to the end of the month.
This means that new iPhone 16 series users will have to wait for at least a few more weeks to get Apple’s AI feature on their device. Gurman stated that Apple is going slow with the release to fix big issues and to prepare its cloud service for the additional traffic load.
Apple Intelligence features
A report by Android Authority, The first set of features of the proposed Apple Intelligence will be notification summaries. Canadians have to wait until December for English Canada support for Apple Intelligence. Still, it is possible to use Apple Intelligence with US English by changing language settings.
Some of the other subsequent releases, like iOS 18.2, include chatGPT and support for Genmoji Custom Emoji. By March, we will more likely see a lot more advancements in Siri as part of the much-awaited iOS 18.4, through which the application will be able to control other applications more accurately and also attempt to access relevant personal information to supplement answers to queries.
Other new features planned for the future are automated filing in the Mail app and the option to create your own images using the Image Playground app. The first measures of Apple Intelligence will have notifications such as notification summaries.
