Gemini AI chatbot by Google, adding images to the prompts became much easier in the version update v1.0.668480831. As reported by first Android authority in the new version of Gemini Android v1.0.668480831, it is now possible to share images directly from Google Photos or any other installed app to the Gemini app.
Gemini Android Share Sheet Directly
Before, users had to complete several steps to insert an image which required the user to open the Gemini app, navigate to the folder containing the desired picture on a device, attach it, and then type the desired prompt. In Android’s share sheet, the Gemini Android icon comes in as one of the targets where images can be shared. This only works for images though because links and texts cannot be shared with Gemini.
The feature is found in the current version of the Gemini application which is designed for Android only. As a result, users can share the desired image with the Gemini through the Android share sheet directly. After that users can ask questions on the same is another feature that has been mentioned in the tape. Here is simple steps Go to Gallery > Select Images > Tap On Share > Select Gemini.
This feature is useful in case one does not have the intention of using the tap to ask about this screen option in order to get a screenshot taken and then shared with Gemini. If you’re uncomfortable with linking an image in the conversation screen with Gemini Live, then this can be used as well. This latest feature will come in handy in ensuring that you’re not putting so many screenshots in the screenshots folder.
