New AI features of Nothing OS 3.0 Update

  • Smart Drawer: Nothing OS 3.0 Update employs the use of AI to categorize the applications and prioritize the most frequently accessed applications in the topmost drawer. It resembles and feels a bit like the iOS app library. This new app drawer is called Smart Drawer and it is not the default app drawer but one that you enable. The old application drawer is also present and is open by default. There is an option to put the most used apps at the top.

  • Nothing Gallery and Camera App: What used to be absent in the older version of the Nothing OS is the inclusion of a gallery app at this point. It’s integrated with the camera app. It also proved that the camera app can do HDR and portrait effects faster

  • Lock screen clock and widget: New to Nothing OS 3.0 Update are extra clock faces and widgets for the lock screen. New designs consist of N-Type, N-Dot styles, and a clock in the style of those located in the stations of the London tube.

  • Home screen widget: Nothing OS 3.0 Update packs over twenty widgets inbuilt and one of them is a countdown widget. It also allows you to reconnect with other Nothing OS users, as well as share the specific widgets – whether it’s the pedometer or something else — with them, thus creating a more coherent experience. Agg: people can also reply to shared widgets with stickers.

  • Quick Settings tile arrangement: Quick Settings tiles can be isomorphic and grouped and separated as desired. Carl Pei calls it intuitive. This is also true with the auto-brightness option with the brightness bar present.

  • Brand new UI: New UI elements like font, Dot matrix, and Transparency: Below them, new Dot Animations are included in fingerprint animations and charging indicators. The N-dot font is accompanied by Sans Serif font for further readability in the merchandise. The Dot Matrix UI goes on to applications such as weather applications where you are likely to view some weather icons in animations. It has also proposed new transparent elements of software to improve its ability to represent information based on its brand.

Performance Enhancements:

  • Both speed and performance have received improvements in Nothing OS 3.0. Users can expect:
  • This makes the app launch faster and the animations and transitions smoother.
  • A 1.4x faster photo-to-gallery transition.
  • Dolby Vision and portrait at 25% faster than previous models.
