Galaxy S25 series

Samsung brand itself sheds light on official Galaxy S25 updates, which seem to be in the works. In the Q2 earnings call, although we were told that the Exynos 2500 chip is indeed real and out in the market Samsung executives let us in on some details of devices that are yet to be launched this year and the next, specifically the 2025 flagship.

According to the sources, the head of Samsung has said that the Galaxy S25 series shall come with the ‘best equipment’ for both the camera and the display. Although he didn’t elaborate, it is obvious that Samsung is preparing to take with its latest devices the fight to a whole new level.

There is expected to be a massive upgrade in the camera department for the flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra in the series. For example, the ultra wide-angle camera may receive a new 50-megapixel sensor, a “new version of the 1/2. 76-inch JN1 sensor”, instead of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. There is also, a speculated new 1/3-inch ISOCELL sensor in the telephoto lens than the existing one for improved performance.

Samsung is moving further away from simply using the Galaxy AI on smartphones. This means that the artificial intelligence services shall be extended throughout the significantly of smartwatches, TWS earbuds, the Galaxy Ring, tablets, and Galaxy Book laptops. In the future, AI will be more entwined with the software layers affecting everything from the operating systems to singular applications. OS, apps and other software levels will also incorporate it.

Samsung too during the same call disclosed a new mobile chipset in development called the Exynos 2500. Originally worked at Samsung System’s LSI division, the availability of this chipset is expected in some of Samsung’s key products. While Samsung didn’t reveal which devices will integrate the Exynos 2500, some expectations can include the Galaxy S25 series in some regions that will feature better performance and efficiency.
