Telegram features

Telegram Browser

The new in-app browser is designed to work with multiple tabs so that a user can flip from messages to a website, to an instant view article or a mini app, and then right back to messages while keeping their previous location. It also enables all websites built on TON in any mobile/TDD app to provide Web3 to millions of Telegram users. One can toggle/hide and view pages from the bottom bar, bookmark a page for later use, and even receive notifications all without having to leave the current page.

The Mini App

Apart from the browser, the Mini App Store came out with the help of Telegram integrated with the platform’s new Stars option. Yep, it’s even that simple, and consumers are now able to gift Stars to others and take viewers to the Mini App Store. This store features numerous applications that take Stars; it makes the manner through which users can interact and fund the applications and developers more efficient.

To browse through the Mini App Store, the users can go to the search menu, especially the ‘Apps’ segment in the Telegram messenger. Thus, this new feature not only supports the finding of new apps but also motivates the use of the Stars system.

The Gifting Stars

Telegram Stars, which can be bought to use mini apps or pay for the content in channels, can now be gifted. For this users have to get to settings and after that, they will see the ‘My Stars’ tab. When one of the contacts has a birthday, he will be shown at the top of the list, and when using winking stars as gifts, the latter will be presented as a beautifully designed gift box in chat. To gift stars, select settings ->My Stars

Android users will find this tab in settings only if they bought stars as a gift for somebody this time iTunes users will see this menu only if they bought stars before this. The addition of a cover photo feature allows the users who post the video stories on the profile to choose one frame that will be displayed as the cover photo.
