July 2024 updates
- Create calculated fields: generate new fields and formulas in Looker Studio while not requiring prior knowledge about Looker Studio’s formula language.
- Add Looker Studio content to Google Slides: Automatically synchronize elements from Looker Studio reports into Google Slides.
- Gemini Code Assist is also available for a 30-day free trial as long as there is only one user per billing account before November 8, 2024. Customers can purchase a license on the Gemini Admin page in the Google Cloud console. For more information, see Setting up Gemini Code Assist for a project.
June 2024updates
- Implemented a tips card in the chat area, which provided some essential keyboard shortcuts when using the VS Code Gemini Code Assist plug-in.
- Implemented a diff button next to code snippets in the chat to allow for comparison with the code provided by Gemini Code Assist.
- Previously, the VS Code Gemini plug-in would display rejected Gemini Code Assist code suggestions.
- Updated Gemini Code Assist to use Gemini 1. 5 Flash model (with 32k token window), enhanced features for code commenting, unit test generation, and code refactoring.
