Gemini

It is said that Google is to offer a new feature for Gemini AI which will beat Siri on iPhones through integration of multi-window support. The feature, being in the testing process, will enable users to open the Gemini chatbot in a split-screen on Android devices. This update could improve our experience by allowing the users to manage different conversations at once.

The report comes with a short video by android authority showing how the new feature works. When this feature is on, users can normally invoke the Gemini AI assistant. When it becomes a bottom sheet pop-up interface, users can press a handle located at the top area. This will enable them to drag the pop-up to the top of the screen.

How To Enable Two Windows For Gemini

A new feature has just been introduced into the Gemini AI beta where a flag can be toggled to make the app open in a dual window. If this flag is enabled, a handle appears above the Gemini popup. They can then drag this window to the top of the screen, which opens another Gemini popup.

Once the flag is enabled, the user will be able to see a handle located at the top of the Gemini popup. Clicking on this handle is unproductive, but clicking and holding on the handle will enable you to drag the window to the top of the screen. When this window is removed, it will create a new second window and you will be able to use Gemini in two windows simultaneously.

It enables users to have two different chats on each popup without interruptions. This means that users can enter and execute two different queries using the Gemini AI model concurrently. Though it looks like a simple joke at a party, it can be helpful for people who would like to try the AI and see the difference in responses to similar questions. It can also be used in cases where the user does not want one question to influence the response to another question.
