Samsung is preparing to release the next generations of its foldable phones, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 worldwide. Often, the company also introduces or debuts a new One UI version together with its flagship foldable smartphones annually. However, this year, Samsung could postpone its usual release date schedule as it can release the One UI 6.1.1 update has a significant new AI function for the S Pen.
Some of the rumors regarding the same have been floating in the market. A tipster known as Ice Universe has also made some predictions on X (formerly Twitter) which suggests that the One UI 7 will not be rolled out this year as Samsung’s initial priority is the One UI 6.1.1. This update should be bigger than previous updates and it may also bring new AI features to make things more interesting for users.
Samsung to bring more AI features with One UI 6.1.1
Samsung also added several AI features in One UI 6.1, but they do not fully utilize the S Pen. According to the leaker, this should be resolved with the release of One UI 6.1.1. Ice Universe also agrees with this and has expectations that the next One UI 6 point release will enhance the system animation, while the wallpaper animation has a ‘larger scale’ making it more vivid.
Furthermore, in another post on X, the tipster states that this update will begin to be released for the Galaxy S24 series in August, with the Fold 6 to receive this update with significant camera enhancements as well. One UI 6 brought new AI features to Samsung devices. earlier this year, but we are yet to see these AI advancements on the S-pen. Ice Universe says that this should improve with the release of the upcoming One UI 6.1.1 update, which is the new AI graffiti function. However, its functions and usability remain concealed.
