Google Workspace Gemini Mobile App

The Gemini app for Android and iOS is now available for Google Workspace users. This means that Workspace users will be able to use the Gemini mobile app because it is one of the services provided in the Workspace.

Earlier, such users could only interact with Gemini capabilities in the web interface and some applications like Google Docs or Gmail. Google’s technology and software firm revealed that this change will enable enterprise consumers to employ the AI chatbot on the move.

Google Workspace Gemini Mobile App

Gemini’s iOS and Android app will allow Workspace users to research or get answers while on the go. Besides that, they can take a picture of handwritten notes using the phone’s camera and transfer it into Google Docs or Gmail, and also, make presentations from the chart drawn on the whiteboard.

Gemini for Android and iOS will now enable Workspace to sign in with an organization account and get all the features of the pro version that are unavailable in the regular Gemini app.

It can also use the camera of the phone to photograph notes written on paper and convert them to Google Docs or Gmail or turn an optimally drawn chart on a whiteboard into a pretty format of a presentation—all of this, of course, with the set of enterprise data security features that Google Workspace customers already know.

At present, a few web app features do not work with Gemini with Google Workspace on the mobile app. These are workspace extensions, file uploads, and gems. As of now, Work Profile is not supported on the Android Gemini app.

The Gemini app for Workspace accounts will include a list of 150 countries and 46 languages. However, the bells and whistles that are available for enterprise users on the web will not be available in the app at the moment.

Unfortunately, the Google mobile application on iOS, which is enveloping Gemini, will not allow you to authenticate with a Google Workspace account. iOS users wishing to authenticate their Google Workspace account must download the Gemini mobile application.
