Gemini Live

Gemini Live will be airing its programs in Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati & Urdu. Which was told in Google for India 2024 event in India. Launched first with Gemini Advanced subscriber services. It was first introduced exclusively to Gemini Advance members, but currently, any Android user can use it for more realistic and informal communication. Also, they have provided Gemini Live with 10 new voice types which will enhance the user experience to the next level.

Gemini Live comes with 9 regional languages in India

Google’s main focus on its AI efforts is Gemini Live, a conversational artificial intelligence platform. Earlier this year in English, it added Hindi; eight Indian languages Bengali, Tamil, Telegu, Marathi, Kannada, Gujarati, Malayalam, and Punjabi are on the anvil. This is a strategic shift in a market in which over 70% of internet users prefer using their vernacular languages.

In the October 2021 event that has become an annual occurrence, the twelfth Google for India event, the search engine celebrated two decades in the South Asian economic powerhouse and set two goals: to advance artificial intelligence and bring to light the work developed in the country. They also made such specific announcements like introducing the Gemini AI model in Hindi and adding eight more regional Indian languages which are likely to be launched in IND soon.

Enhanced AI skills to improve India’s Workspace

Google also had some great changes to make to Google Pay. The UPI Circle has added a new function that will enable users to ask for payments from a third party.

For example, a parent would be able to review payments made by their child, without needing to know the password to the account. Google Pay has also raised its loan ceiling companies offering loans of up to Rs 5 lakh, and gold loan limits of up to Rs 50 lakh for the app’s users.

Due to this growing digital economy in India there immediately calls for AI-ready talent. To this end, Google introduced the Skills House, an AI learning platform that has set the goal of preparing 10 million Indians for artificial intelligence technologies. The platform, which will be available in seven of India’s languages, provides learners with digital badges to promote learning and prepare the working population for the nation’s emergent AI economy.

Available as a standalone extension of the already existing Gemini product for Android, to use Gemini Live, users can open the Gemini app or call up the Gemini assistant on their Android device. There they will also find that a new waveform icon is placed next to the text field. The icon, when clicked on, will expand the feature with its full-screen presentation. People can start voicing their questions and the needful shall be said by the Artificial Intelligence.
