Reportedly, Chrome’s address bar is going to feature a Google Lens icon for activating ‘Circle to Search’.as the name of “Drag to Search” in Chromebook. To access ‘Circle to Search’ on Chromebooks, you have to tap on the new Google Lens icon shown in the address bar to the bookmark star. Thereafter, immediately Google will take you to “Select anything to search with Google Lens”. The displayed cursor changes to a crosshair with a ‘Drag to search’ loupe where the Lens icon can be shown. Just a double-tap will enable you to adjust the box after the fact, the result will be directly shown on the side panel.
Moreover, Google Lens in Chrome makes it easy to search anything you see on your screen, also it provides you with the benefit of searching within a video you are watching, a slide in a live stream, or an image on a webpage. However, on Windows/Mac, the Lens icon in the address bar won’t be shown, it will overflow towards the menu houses a new “Search with Google Lens” option that you can pin alongside other side panel shortcuts for permanent access.
