OpenAI has noted that the firm has taken the search bar that relies on ChatGPT deeper into public use and in direct competition with Google’s search engine a domain the firm has largely controlled for long. The new update means that all users will now be able to get contemporary information with links to sources which is exactly what traditional search engines offer.
The change means that ChatGPT can now provide the answer that is ‘fast, timely’ and it will gather real-time data from the internet; this is a big leap for the model from previous cutoffs. This integration allows users to have access to correct and up-to-date information without dependence on the usual search engines.
One of the most significant enhancements with this update is the advanced voice search. It will help you ask current web questions by having a natural language conversation. The system can now answer compound questions, such as about travel or events in a particular region.
It also can support multiple languages, and it displays real-time information. With ChatGPT, you can set it as your browser’s default search engine because it adds conversational AI search results directly to your browser. Here’s how you can set it up:

By typing questions or keywords into the browser’s address bar, they do not have to refresh the webpage; instead, ChatGPT will provide answers or a summary of a webpage in a matter of seconds.
