Samsung Galaxy Ring was launched in February 2024 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 as a new category of wearables from Samsung. However, the South Korean tech giant has only teased the public with a few glimpses of its smart ring; something which is expected to change shortly.

- Stress monitoring: Maybe, the Samsung ring could screen the Electrodermal Activity (EDA), skin temperature, activity (twitching or squirming) levels, and heart rate variability to measure your stress.
- Heart rate tracking: It might have optical sensors which can be used to measure the pulse at the finger which involves the expansion and contraction of blood vessels.
- Period monitoring: Screenshots posted by the publication show that the Ring can track Periods based on skin temperature changes. It allows you to determine the ovulation cycle and even forecast the future menstrual and fertile days.
- Snore detection: As with the Galaxy smartwatches, the Galaxy Ring will be able to pick up snoring at night provided the phone charging case is placed nearby.
Samsung has stated that the Galaxy Watch will maintain a charge for up to 9 days but this is likely to vary based on the features that you need and the particular size. The FCC documents showed that there should be three kinds of Galaxy Ring sizers: one is 17 mAh, and the other two are 18. 5mAh and 22 mAh batteries.
