The most expected upcoming iPhone series should make its debut later this year, this is going to be Apple’s next smartphone series, meanwhile, no official announcement has been made for the Apple Intelligence features that will come with the iPhone 16 series. The iOS 18 update which will likely be released with this upcoming iPhone will not include Apple’s AI suite in it, also the handset set that will be featured in this phone is not detailed. The rumors say that the Apple Intelligence features of beta that Apple expects to release will not be included in the upcoming iPhone series at launch and it has been speculated that it would face a delay for these features launch.
iPhone 16 series
Bloomberg; ‘s Mark Gurman claimed that the Apple Intelligence features despite a delay in its launch, the iPhone 16 series launch will not be postponed and surely be introduced and expected to launch at the Apple event in September.
Moreover, the long-awaited operating system of Apple (OS) update still going through some software polishing touches, therefore it is not ready for featuring in the latest smartphone. Initially, it was intended to shift its launch to June. Although the iOS 18 update of Apple Intelligence would likely be released without including Apple’s AI suite, its release will take public appearance with the next iPhone series.
However, the iOS 18.1 update could take its launch in October, even though it would not carry some of the most notable features, such as the Image Playground which lets users generate AI images, which Apple showcased at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024 on June 10.
Furthermore, the possibility that Apple Intelligence features had been delayed till 2025, as per the statement Gurman made. This is likely to include advanced AI Integrations in Siri– Apple’s voice assistant for the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The speculations say these features could be rolled out to developers in January 2025 with the iOS 18.4 beta update, before it will lead to the public.
