The “12 Days of OpenAI 2024” showcases daily product updates and opportunities with ChatGPT and other products. The event takes place from December 5 to December 23, 2024, on weekdays at 10 a.m. PT. Every day presents a new tool, update, and AI functionality revealed in a live broadcast.

On the tenth day, 1-800 CHATGPT, is an experimental launch to widen access to ChatGPT. 1-800-242-8478. It is a US number; users can call or message, and they can WhatsApp as well. This is available in the US only, but it will be gradually rolled out to other regions soon. Access to using it is limited; however, WhatsApp from supported countries is available. Apart from this, users can talk to 1-800-ChatGPT for 15 minutes per month for free.

On the sixth day, OpenAI added Video and Screen sharing features to its advanced voice mode. With this update, users can make video calls with ChatGPT and get real-time assistance by sharing their screen. Users can get guidance on a particular task while showing the video call with ChatGPT. Apart from this, OpenAI included a new voice mode in ChatGPT, which was an unexpected gift. ChatGPT gets Santa voice mode now it counts 10 voices.
Day 5
Kickstart from the fifth day, OpenAI’s 12-day program integrated ChatGPT with Apple’s iOS, macOS, and iPadOS. Through this integration, Siri can now answer more complex questions using ChatGPT’s capabilities, allowing users to perform more advanced interactions on photos, documents, and written content. The feature is available on iPhone 16 and later models.
Day 4
On the fourth day, Canvas collaborates with ChatGPT to write and code beyond the simple chat. This AI-integrated model, Canavas, functioned in beta for a couple of months, but now it is officially available for Plus, Pro, and free users. It is spotted on the web and window applications.
